Essential Duties:
Provide screening, assessments, evaluations,
intervention planning, implementation of
intervention and transition planning for infants,
toddlers and their families as well as consultation
to the primary interventionist working with the
family.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's
Degree and graduation from a physical therapy
curriculum approved by the Council on Medical
Education and Hospitals of the American Medical
Association; Hawaii state license required. At least one
year experience working with infants, toddlers and
their families.
Early Head Start
Lead Teacher, South Kona/Kealakehe
HS Infant/Toddler Center
Essential
Duties: Promote parent-child bonding and
nurture the parent-child relationship while performing a
variety of instructional and training activities that
support and provide an educational environment for infants
and toddlers
Qualifications/Requirements: AA in Early
Childhood and or Infant & Toddler CDA and the ability to
meet Hawaii childcare licensing requirement for Lead
Teacher. Two years experience in a licensed child care
center with supervisory experience preferred.
Spanish Interpreter, Kona
(On-Call)
Essential
Duties: Provide Spanish Interpreter service
to assist non-Spanish speaking staff on home visits and
provide written translation of forms, newsletters, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bi-lingual in Spanish/English. Proficient writing skills.
Passing an assessment test is required.
Part-Time Caregiver Aide/Family
Advocate - South Kona
Essential Duties: Assist
Lead Teacher to promote parent-child bonding and nurture the
parent-child relationship while performing a variety of
instructional and training activities that support and
provide an educational environment for infants and toddlers.
Maintain file documentation, recruit/enroll families,
computer data entry, transport families and assist families
with community resources.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus one year experience
in an early childhood program serving infants and toddlers.
Computer experience with data entry systems. Bi-lingual
Spanish/English preferred.
